Cobra Media was founded in late June 2007 by Rory Clapham after being a concept for just under a year. The original was Cobra Web Services, which was changed 27th December 2007 after the decision to move out and become a conglomerate of the IT industry. .
Started as a web design business, the web still remains the core focus of the business, while other sections that require similar design skills have been added over time. These include E-marketing, Print Design, slideshow design, software development, mobile content and canvas printing.
On March 28th 2008 Cobra Media launched a new charity named The Big Rice Fund, with the sole purpose of ending world hunger. Using software that Cobra Media created, users can sign up to the fund and help put an end to world hunger.
There are a few major projects in the future for Cobra Media, these being LivePK.net and a few others.
